Seaweed pressing was a popular art form during the Victorian era when people summered on the coast. Seaweed was admired for its beauty and pressed into scrapbooks with other mementos like poetry, watercolors & anything that was a happy reminder of their experience.

In addition to learning a bit more about seaweed you’ll leave with the following:

• 2 pressings you created with your own hands from seaweed Mary has gathered (one small, one large).  

• A portfolio containing both of your seaweed collage pressings.  

• Instructions on how to continue the drying process started in the workshop.

• Recommended framing options after your pressings have completely dried.

Looking forward to having you join us and guiding your creative visions using seaweed! Seating is limited as we look to create an intimate and fun experience for all. Such a fun thing to do with friends to kick off the new year!

Falmouth Village Association shuts down Main Street to vehicle traffic and welcomes you to peruse outdoor pop-up-shops that will pepper the length of Main Street. Get all of your holiday shopping done in July! The fun begins at 10AM. 

This free event features nationally recognized artists and emerging, local creators. Festival attendees will have the opportunity to shop the work of 75 artists and makers who work with an array of mediums from jewelry, fiber, glass, and ceramics to photography, watercolor, and mixed media.

There will be food trucks and live acoustic music too!

Join me Sunday at this seasonal, well-curated, Open Air Market.

The Clover Market features a rotating lineup of over 100 vendors per event with antiques & collectibles, vintage jewelry & clothing, finely crafted handmade items, architectural salvage, and original art.  A lineup of gourmet food trucks, free kids' crafts and live music complements the lineup. Space is also provided to select local nonprofit groups, animal rescues, and arts-based organizations and schools to participate as featured community partners.  

2nd Annual SPRING Open Studios co-hosted with ceramic artist Elizabeth Benotti. We’ve curated this event to include 9 additional regional artists that you’ve not seen around these parts!
